Ghost of Gloria
Not all the good bands are from our buddies up North. Some are actually here, in Florida to be precise. Ghost of Gloria are four very talented guys from South Florida trying to find their place among modern rock and alternative music. The band formed in the fall of 2007 and quickly began working on their debut EP Voices from the Red Room which was released in February 2009. The band has gained much notoriety in Florida winning several local awards and appearing in local magazines as well. In 2009 they were named one of the top twenty-five bands to watch on TuneLab.com. Influenced by bands such as Foo Fighters, Sevendust, and Tool, Ghost of Gloria infuses hard and modern rock with an alternative edge. Soaring riffs and dynamic vocals make this band easy to fall in love with. Lead singer John D’Angelo is able to draw from inner negativity and emotions and turn it into raw and alluring lyrics. The energy of this band is awe-inspiring. They have nowhere else to go but forward on their musical journey.
