Innocent Bystander
Like many good bands found here on Emurg, Innocent Bystander come to us from Canada. The five men from up North formed in the early 2000s and released their first two EPs in 2005 and 2006. The band finally decided to take their time writing and recording a full length album, allowing themselves to hone their skills and craft the best possible music they could make. Innocent Bystander released their full length album When Things Evolve in October of 2008 and the album has led to much success in Canada and a devoted following. The band may be modern rock but any classic rock influences of theirs seem to seep out through wailing guitar solos and the use of guitar picking rather than constant riffs. Modern rock has taken the next step forward and Innocent Bystander are there to help lead the way.
